I’m Vicki Wright, the proud co-owner of Your Choice Accountants, LLC.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I had an entrepreneurial spirit and was always searching for the next big opportunity. One day, my business partner, Imlah Carey, and I decided to use our financial acumen to assist small and medium-sized businesses as we were certified, professional accountants.

Subsequently, since launching our accounting firm, ten years ago, it has evolved significantly. Our enterprise began as a seasonal operation mainly for tax preparation but has grown to include monthly accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, and other customized services.

I’ve also noticed that over the past decade, conducting business has become more fast-paced and challenging. However, with considerable investment in technology and social media, we’ve adjusted our business to become more competitive and been able to meet our clients’ needs.

Our philosophy is based on competence, dependability, integrity, and trust, so clients are confident that we will prepare financial statements responsibly to enhance their reputation.

Besides, I believe what sets us apart from the others is that we take pride in keeping our clients informed, especially during time-sensitive tasks. Similarly, we make sure that we understand our clients’ operating fields to give them accurate and reliable information.

I also attribute our success to communicating complex accounting concepts in easy to understand language. For example, when we explain the difference between accrual accounting and cash accounting, it’s incredibly rewarding when clients’ imbibe the rich knowledge.

We once organized free seminars explaining the new tax laws, which was a rewarding moment as the attendees indicated their satisfaction in being able to better understand the changes that would affect them. It also contributed significantly to receiving word of mouth referrals.

When I’m not doing accounting and tax work, I like playing tennis and watching all kinds of sports, including the Olympics and soccer. I also love to read and socialize with friends and family, and have come to realize that being an owner provides flexibility in work-life balance.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
